1、 Documents to be provided in the initial application or change of relevant information

Application for compulsory product certification;

Copy of business license of enterprise legal person or registration certificate of the applicant (to be provided at the time of initial application or change);

Organization chart of the manufacturer (to be provided at the time of initial application or change);

Process flow chart of products applying for certification (to be provided in the initial application or change);

List of key instruments and equipment for routine inspection (see the implementation rules for certification, factory quality control and testing requirements) (to be provided at the time of initial application or change);

General assembly drawing and electrical schematic diagram of the product;

Chinese name plate and warning mark of products to be certified (in duplicate);

Chinese user manual of the product applied for certification;

Description of the differences between different types of products in the same application unit;

Appearance photos of all models of products in the same application unit (in duplicate);

Other relevant information required when necessary (please provide CB test report if any).

2、 Documents to be provided when applying for similar products again

1. Application for compulsory product certification;

2. General assembly drawing and electrical schematic diagram of the product;

3. Chinese name plate and warning mark of the product applied for certification (in duplicate);

4. Chinese operation manual of the product applied for certification;

5. Description of the differences between different models of products in the same application unit;

6. Appearance photos of all models of products in the same application unit (in duplicate);

7. Other relevant information required when necessary (please provide CB test report if any).

List of documents provided for 3C compulsory certification product testing

The following data shall be provided during product testing and sample delivery:

Sample delivery registration form;

CCC application details;

Product manual;

Product specifications;

Product maintenance manual;

Product circuit diagram (including schematic diagram and printed circuit layout);

Description of the difference between the main delivery model product and the covered model product in the same application unit;

List of key components related to safety of products and list of main components affecting EMC performance;

Copy of certification certificate of key safety components;

CB test certificates and reports of products (if any);

Authorization for the use of the trademark of the product (if any);

Why 3C certification

In order to fulfill the commitment of China's accession to WTO, meet the needs of China's market economy development, and establish a technical evaluation mechanism in line with international standards, China has established China's compulsory product certification system (CCC) according to four unified principles.

CCC is the original import and export commodity safety and quality licensing system (CCIB), safety certification compulsory supervision system (Great Wall), network access permit

To replace in whole or in part the licensing system, the marketing licensing system and the industrial product production licensing system.

On December 3, 2001, CNCA issued the compulsory product certification system in accordance with the work responsibilities assigned by the State Council. Since May 1, 2002, the first batch of certification applications for 132 products in 19 categories listed in the compulsory product certification catalogue have been accepted.

On 1 May 2002, law enforcement oversight of the certification of these products was initiated (now postponed to 1 August).
