      BSMIThat is, the Standards Inspection Bureau of the Ministry of economy, formerly known as the National Bureau of weights and measures established in 1930, is the highest inspection organ of the Republic of China, responsible for national standards, weights and measures and commodity inspection. The product inspection specifications of Taiwan's electronic and electrical products are formulated by BSMI. The products must comply with the safety and EMC tests and related tests before they can be authorized to use the BSMI mark. Electrical and electronic products are tested according to three plans: type approval (T); verification registration (R) and declaration of conformity (d)。

BSMI certification of lithium battery
On November 20, 2013, the Bureau of economic standards announced that since May 1, 2014, 3C secondary lithium battery / cell, secondary lithium mobile power supply and charger should be inspected according to the corresponding standards, and they can enter the Taiwan market only when they meet the requirements.
